A rather grey autumn day saw Brian, Phil, Eric, Clyde, Howard, John, Rob, Rosalind, Patrick, Ian and Jeff assemble at Outwoods Drive. It was decided to try out a new but quite close cafe in Woodhouse Eaves and so a circuitous route would be used to get there. The riders headed out north across Garendon Park, around Shepshed onto Tickow Lane and then Climbing slowly up Charley Road to Beacon Hill. After a rapid descent the riders enjoyed a repast in the back room of the Cafe Next Door before returning to Loughborough past Mucklin Wood.
