A rather cool and generally overcast day greeted Chris, Patrick, Ray and John. It was decided to risk the mud on the path to Beaumanor past Mucklin Wood. Having climbed up the track to Beaumanor, Ray took of his top to reveal is new "King of the Mountains" shirt.
The ride then proceeded through Swithland to Rothley station, where large pots of tea were consumed whilst a shower of rain passed outside. The return to Loughborough was via Quorn passing a "Road Safety" van setting up a speed trap along Epinal Way. Home for lunch at noon.
