A damp, overcast and dull morning greeted Sean, Stuart, Ray and John. With all the rain it was decided that it would be a good idea to stay on tarmac and the riders proceeded to tea at the ever welcoming Stonehurst farm. Stuart and john bored everyone else with talk of computers, this being interrupted by a conversation with Richard Shepherd who was taking refreshment during a walk. John returned home directly as he had to get to a meeting in Leicester while the remaining riders crossed the Soar returning along the east bank.
