Ray, Howard Patrick and Keith assembled at Outwoods Drive on a brisk sunny morning. With the prospect of the weather warming up it was decided to cycle to Daisy's Tearoom at the garden nursery in Rothley. We bypassed the Beaumanor track because of the likelihood of it being muddy. The route took the group along Ling Road, and the A6 through Quorn and Mountsorrel. Arriving at the coffee stop, the weather was still quite cold and, unfortunately, too chilly to sit outside. The group had a leisurely teabreak and returned back to Loughborough via Rothley, Swithland and Quorn.
