A rather blustery day, with sunshine and fast moving clouds awaited Ray, Terry, Anne, Howard, Derek and John. Ray had discovered a new coffee shop (Odd John's Kitchen, located behind the Griffin Inn at Swithland) and so it was decided to head there leaving Loughborough via Mucklin Wood. Refreshment was taken outside in the sunshine. The riders then took a slightly longer ride back crossing the top of Swithland Reservoir and then heading north and dropping down again to take the track across the Reservoir Dam where a 1939 MG Sports Car which had recently been restored was to be seen. Returning along Rushey Lane to Woodhouse the riders were caught by a light shower.
