A slightly chilly day with intermittent sunshine awaited Ray, Derek, Patrick, Howard and John. It was decided to check out the Manor Farm tea room in Long Whatton as is had been closed for a time so the riders set out alongside the Epinal Way and then via the Blackbrook path to join the A6 cycle path to Hathern. Here to avoid using the main road they took a diversion around the village coming across a garden full of gnomes and admiring the many older cottages still to be found in the village.

After refreshments at Manor Farm the riders returned via Shepshed.
