A beautiful summers day tempted Howard, Graham, Eric, Derek and John to set out on a slightly longer ride than normal to East Goscote nurseries. The route taken being through the Market Place (before the witching hour of 10am) and then via Meadow Lane to Walton on the Wolds, Seagrave, Thrussington and down the Wreake valley to Cossington for refreshment at East Goscote Nurseries. Unfortunately as the ride progressed Eric found he was having to work harder due to his wheel rubbing. It was discovered that he had a broken spoke in his rear wheel which was causing the wheel the buckle. After refreshment the rides took the most direct route back to Loughborough via Sileby and Mountsorrel.
