It was a glorious sunny summers day with warm air coming in from the Continent when Terry, Anne, John, Ray, Clyde, Howard and Patrick gathered at Outwoods Roundabout. It was decided to head for Daisy's Tea Room at the Garden Centre just outside Rothley where there are good facilities for taking repast in the sunshine. Here the riders came across Wendy who was out for a ride from Quorn, having already put in some miles through Watermead. After a pleasant sojourn the riders returned through Rothley, Swithland, Woodhouse and Mucklin Wood.
