A beautiful sunny, but windy, autumn day provided some lovely countryside views for the riders, John, Patrick, Peter and Stuart.
As the wind was in the south west it was decided to go to Bradgate Park so that the riders would be blown back to Loughborough. This made the ride out quite tough and after a rather ambitious hill was attempted, Peter did not feel to well. On reaching Bradgate Park it was decided to head to the tea room at Rothley Station for some very welcome refreshments which helped revive Peter.
The riders then had a very pleasant return journey with a tail wind in bright sunshine.
