Many people had other thing to do so it was just Howard, John and new rider Jane who set off for Beth's Kitchen at Breedon on the Hill on an overcast morning with the occasional dampness descending. The riders went out through Shepshed and Belton arriving for coffee at at the same time as a large group of club cyclists. It took a little longer than normal before the excellent cake could be sampled. As Jane lives in Hathern the riders returned via Diseworth and Long Whatton.
