A bright spring day greeted Derek, Howard, Ray and John and it was decided that it would be a good day for sitting out at Barrow Boatyard watching the world float by. After a pleasant ride past Mucklin Wood, through Quorn and across the slabs to Barrow, the riders tucked into some sumptuous cake before returning to Loughborough along the east bank of the Soar taking Meadow Lane.
