A superb morning with a clear blue sky and warming sun greeted Stuart, Patrick, Chris and John. The ride went out past Mucklin Wood, where the first bluebells were in evidence, through Swithland and on to the tea rooms at Rothley station via Costock Reservoir Dam. After a pleasant half hour in the sunshire consuming tea and other refreshments, the riders retuned to Loughborough, looping back through Swithland for an early lunch.
