A beautiful summer's day saw Anne, Terry, Kevin, Clyde, Rob, Howard, John and new rider Brian setting off on a circuitous route to the Green Place in Sileby. The riders took the track past Mucklin Wood to Woodhouse and then on to Swithland, Rothley and the rather rough cycle track alongside the A46 to Wanlip Road. They then joined the Sustrans route at the Hope and Anchor taking the path alongside the Grand Union Canal to Cossington and then on to Sileby. Here they were joined by Ray Clay for refreshments. The riders then returned via Mountsorrel and Quorn.
