We have right to left, Lyn, Eric, Derek, Patrick and Marcus. We set off, by going through Loughborough, then on via the canal and out on Meadow Lane. Cutting across on Stanford Lane, Back Lane before cycling down Cotes Road to Barrow upon Soar. The threat of rain was always there, so the intention was to keep the ride short and close to home. In Barrow we went to our coffee stop at Pillings Lock. The return ride took us along Barrow Road into Quorn, and then up Woodhouse Rd before returning through Mucklin Woods to Loughborough. We could have stayed out longer and gone further as the threat of rain never materialised; but, 'Hey ho', we had a good ride out anyway.
