A sunny early Spring day saw Howard, Clyde, Jeff, Graham, Brian, Tricia, Terry, Eric, Phil, Rob, Ian, John & David setting out on a gentle climb out to Shepshed then via Tickow Lane and Charley Road to the Monastery Tea Rooms. Here they were joined by Ray and Anne to take refreshments in the sun. After an unhurried repast the riders continued climbing Charley Road before reaching their highest point on Beacon Road, followed by a rapid descent to Woodhouse. The riders returned via Quorn as the track past Mucklin Wood was very muddy.
