Patrick, Derek and Terry turned up for a fine weather ride out through Stanford to Normanton on Soar. On to Zouch Hathern and tea at Manor Farm in Long Whatton. Conversation turned to when the Normanton Ferry ceased operation, at which point Derek Googled it and found it still ran, but by appointment only!We returned via Shepshed.
