A beautiful early spring day awaited Kevin, Jas, Anne, Terry, Howard, John and Clyde. It was decided to head out up Ashby Road and round Shepshed to Tickow Lane, then Charley Lane, before taking refreshment at the Monastery Tea Rooms. Unfortunately the riders decided to take their refreshments outside while Ray was waiting for them inside. Eventually Ray found us all enjoying the sunshine. John needed to get back to catch a train, but the remaining riders continued round to Beacon Hill and then past Woodhouse Eaves and Mucklin Wood to return to Loughborough.
