The forecast had been for a dry morning with rain setting in around lunch time. However Derek, Ray, John and Patrick turned out to find the rain coming down steadily. It was decided that a short ride would be in order and the Green Place in Sileby would be a good destination. Having caped up, the riders found the rain became quite heavy for a time but eased up as they came into Sileby. The wood burner had just been fired up for the first time this autumn and the riders found the warmth very welcome as they dried out and consumed their refreshments. The weather remained dry for the ride home.
