A rather dank and overcast morning saw Terry, Anne, Graham, Lynn, Patrick, Clyde and John turn up at Outwoods roundabout. As the wind was from the north east it was decided to head for the village shop at Normanton on Soar. The riders progressed through Stanford towards East Leake, turning for West Leake and Hungary Lane down into Sutton Bonnington before turning south to arrive in Normanton just as drizzle started coming down. After excellent refreshment the riders negotiated the temporary scaffold bridge over the railway before climbing Fox Hill and returning to Loughborough along Meadow Lane.
