Not a bad early January day, with a temperature above freezing and an overcast sky. Terry, Kevin, Clyde, John, Howard, Peter and Jas (a new rider with the group) decided to keep to the tarmac and headed out through the University past a bank of flowering daffodils (witness to a very mild and wet December) to Shepshed and then Belton before partaking of an excellent repast at Manor Farm in Long Whatton. The riders then returned via Hathern and were back in Loughborough by noon.
