Ray, John, Patrick and Chris turned out on a bright but cold morning with a biting northerly breeze. It was decided to keep the ride short and go across Garendon Park to Shepshed, visiting Armstrong's Mill Factory Shop for refreshments. On the way Ray picked up a lot of mud under his mudguard and the riders stopped whilst this was cleared. After coffee Chris headed off for Mountsorrel while the remaining riders headed for home. The temperature having risen so that riding conditions were very pleasant.
