A rather grey overcast morning with a north east wind saw Norman (a new rider), Rob, Norman, Mike, David, Marcus, Clyde, Tricia, Jeff, Terry, Derek, John and Eric. With quite a large group it was decided to split up initally so as to minimise problems for other road users as we passed through the town on out on the Nottingham main road. Terry led the first group which consolidated with the second led by John at Back Lane in Cotes. The riders then headed upwind though Prestwold, Hoton, Wymeswold and Wysall where they turned west and downwind with the sun starting to put in an appearance along Wysall Road to Costock and then on to East Leake for refreshments at the Chefs Cafe. The riders then returned via Leake Lane and Meadow Lane to Loughborough.
