A cool overcast morning meant that John was the only one to venture out in shorts, despite it being mid June. Four riders set out to cross Loughborough, cycling across Market Square before the 10am cut off time, and headed ,via Meadow Lane and Stanford Hills towards East Leake, but taking the turn for West Leake. Stuart and Peter swapped bikes so that Peter could see what a classic tourer was like compared to his more upright suspension bike. Stuart decided he did not want to swap bike. The group then rode down Hungary lane into Sutton Bonnington and the a flat ride to the Village Shop at Normanton on Soar for tea and cake. The journey home was via Zouch and the A6 Cycle Path.
