Eric, Clyde, Graham, John and Lynn gathered at Outwoods Drive on a very pleasant early Spring day and as the wind was in the north west decided to head for Beth's Tearoom at Breedon. The riders headed out through the University and across Garendon Park to Shephed, proceeding then along Sustrans Route 6 to Belton, Osgathorpe and Worthington. In Worthington Lynn decided to take advantage of the fact that he was passing the home of a friend who had been ill and stop off for a chat and then make his way home independently. The remaining four riders processed to Breedon and enjoyed the usual excellent repast at the tearoom which had already been invaded by another group of cyclist (all of whom had thankfully been served). The riders they returned by the direct route through Tonge, Belton and Shepshed.
