It was a beautiful hot sunny morning when Ray and Derek assembled at the Outwoods Drive roundabout, soon joined by Terry back from his Norway holiday. In view of the weather, it was decided that an outdoor tea stop was a must. So it was onto the garden centre at Cossington via Ling Road and the old A6. The garden centre was a first for Derek and he was well impressed, especially with the generous slice of cream cake that he devoured. After the lengthy stop it was homeward bound via Sileby and Barrow upon Soar.
