The group was joined by a new rider Howard on a rather grey and blustery morning. It was decided to head to Bradgate Park via Mucklin Wood and Swithland for refreshment at the Deer Barn Tea Room. Howard suffered a puncture on station road which was quickly repaired, only for Terry to experience another minutes later just inside the entrance to Bradgate Park. A most unusual occurrence. A mass of blue in front of the tea room turned out to be Leicester City youth team out on a training run. After refreshment the riders returned to Loughborough via Quorn.
