With dust being blown in from the Sahara on the south easterly breeze together with misty weather conditions resulted in a rather murky morning when Anne, Terry, Howard, Patrick and John arrived at Outwoods Drive. It was decided to head south up the Soar valley by heading out along Meadow Lane to Stanford on Soar and then heading south via Cossington and the cycle route from there to Syston. A route the group had not used before. After some confusion in finding the coffee shop the riders enjoyed refreshments before returning via Mountsorrel.
