Regular riders John, Derek & Clyde were joined for the first time by Graham. It was an overcast but warm and close morning as the riders headed north to Garendon Park. Derek had to catch a flight in the afternoon so it had been decided to head for the Monastery Tea Rooms in Charnwood Forest as this would make it easy for him to get home to Woodhouse Eaves. After an uneventful ride leaving Shepshed to the south, only interrupted by a photo stop at Fenney Spring Mill, the riders enjoyed sitting out in the sun taking refreshment (the clouds having dispersed). The riders returned via Charley Road, splitting up around Beacon Hill.
