The workout: 2k, 1-2 x mile, 1200m, 800m, 400m, 400m starting a little slower than 10K race effort and working down to a little faster than 5K race effort. The recoveries are 90 seconds after each interval but 60 seconds after the 400m. This workout will help you further develop aerobic power and practice getting into a rhythm as well as getting in a little speed.
Tuesday Night Track Club - meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. We are currently meeting in front of the graveyard at Lindley Park and running the nearby trails through the end of August. We will move to Gallatin Regional Park starting September 2nd. The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to anyone interested in participating, and participation can come in the form of an easy run in lieu of the workout.
