The workout: 1-3 x (400m, 800m, 1200m, 800m, 400m). The rest after the 400m is 60 seconds, after the 800m is 90 seconds, and after the 1200m is 2 min. Each interval should be run at 5K pace. This workout focuses on aerobic power and speed endurance.
Tuesday Night Track Club - meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. We are currently meeting in the MSU Brick Breeden parking lot near Kagy. If the track is clear, we can do the workout at the track but will still meet in Brick Breeden parking lot to avoid confusion. Throughout the winter season, we will meet at the MSU track (workouts will either be on the track or in the parking lot depending on snow conditions) until April. Bring a headlamp. Everyone who chooses to attend TNT is expected to comply with all national, state, and city safety recommendations. Please don't attend if you are feeling sick and think you might be contagious, and please wear a face covering if you have knowingly been exposed to SARS-CoV-2. The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to any adult interested in participating (all levels are welcome!).
