The Workout: 2-6 x mile with the first ~180 m at a little faster than 5K race pace, the next ~700 m at tempo pace, the next ~550 m at 5K race pace, and the last ~220 m a little fast than 5K race pace. The rest between mile intervals is 2:30. This workout focuses on building aerobic base and speed endurance, and it also helps us practice to respond to mid-race surges and maintain focus throughout the interval.

Tuesday Night Track Club - meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. We will meet this week at Lindley Park. Everyone who chooses to attend TNT is expected to comply with all national, state, and city safety recommendations. Please don't attend if you or someone in your household is feeling sick unless you are fully vaccinated. We are also resuming our end-of-month celebrations. The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to any adult interested in participating (all levels are welcome!).
