The workout: 1-3 x 2K, 1-3 x 1K. 2 min rest after each 2K, and 90 seconds rest after each 1K. The 2K intervals should be completed at tempo pace, and the 1K intervals a bit faster, between 10K and 5K race pace. This workout focuses on improving the aerobic base. This workout should feel "comfortably hard" but also should feel like you are running relaxed so if you feel like you are really digging deep to make a specific time, you are going too fast for the intended purpose of this workout.

Tuesday Night Track Club - currently meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. Throughout the winter season, we will meet at the MSU Track - bring a headlamp! We will celebrate our hard work the last Tuesday of each month at a local brewery after the workout - all are welcome to join! Mentally prepare for workouts by joining the Facebook group. The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to any adult interested in participating (all levels are welcome!).
