The Workout: 1-3 sets of 2K, 1K, 800m, 400m with 90 seconds rest after each. The 2K intervals should be completed at tempo pace, and the 1K, 800m, and 400m intervals a bit faster, between 10K and 5K race pace. This workout focuses on improving the aerobic base and power.
Tuesday Night Track Club - meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. We are currently meeting in at Gallatin Regional Park (parking lot off of Oak St.). We will switch to the MSU outdoor track in November. The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to anyone interested in participating, and participation can come in the form of an easy run in lieu of the workout.
