The workout: 3K at tempo pace (2 min rest), 2K at tempo pace (90 seconds rest), 1K at tempo to 10K pace (75 seconds rest), 1-3 x 800m at 10K to 5K pace (60 seconds rest). This workout will help maintain your aerobic base and will serve as a good simulation of mid-race conditions. This workout is a good opportunity to practice focusing and refocusing and maintaining a good rhythm.
Tuesday Night Track Club - meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. We will meet this week at Lindley Park. Everyone who chooses to attend TNT is expected to comply with social distancing recommendations of staying 6 feet apart. Please don't attend if you or someone in your household is feeling sick. We will celebrate our hard work the last Tuesday of each month at a local brewery after the workout - all are welcome to join! Mentally prepare for workouts by joining the Facebook group. The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to any adult interested in participating (all levels are welcome!).
