The Workout: 1-3 sets of 2K (90 sec rest), 1K (60 sec rest) followed by a set of 2-4 x 400m (60 sec rest) at the end of the workout. The 2K intervals should be completed at tempo pace, and the 1K intervals a bit faster, between 10K and 5K race pace. This workout focuses on improving the aerobic base.

Tuesday Night Track Club - meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. Throughout the winter season, we will meet at the MSU Track - bring a headlamp! Everyone who chooses to attend TNT is expected to comply with social distancing recommendations of staying 6 feet apart - sport masks are highly encouraged. Please don't attend if you or someone in your household is feeling sick. We will resume our end-of-month celebrations once we are out of the pandemic or when we return to Lindley Park in the spring (whichever comes first). The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to any adult interested in participating (all levels are welcome!).
