The workout: 1-3 x (3 x 1000m, 1 x 400m). The rest after each interval is 60 seconds. The 1000m intervals should be run at tempo pace, and the 400m intervals should be run at 5K race pace or a little faster. This workout focuses on aerobic development with a little bit of pace changing to emulate surges in a race.

Given the large number of Covid-19 cases in Gallatin County and the fact that it is not as easy to spread out on the track as it is on the trails, it would be safest to wear a sport mask if you have one to TNT. Under Armour makes a great mask for running if you are looking for one.

Tuesday Night Track Club - meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. Throughout the winter season, we will meet at the MSU Track - bring a headlamp! Everyone who chooses to attend TNT is expected to comply with social distancing recommendations of staying 6 feet apart - sport masks are encouraged. Please don't attend if you or someone in your household is feeling sick. We will resume our end-of-month celebrations once we are out of the pandemic or when we return to Lindley Park in the spring (whichever comes first). The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to any adult interested in participating (all levels are welcome!).
