The Workout: 1-2 x (400m, 400m, 600m), 1-4 x 1600m. The rest after the 400s is 60 seconds, after the 600s is 90 seconds, and after the miles is 60 seconds. The 400s should be completed a little faster than 5K race pace; the 600s should be at 5K race pace; the miles should be run at tempo pace. This workout targets speed and aerobic development.
Tuesday Night Track Club - meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. We will meet at the MSU Track until the trails are snow-free. Everyone who chooses to attend TNT is expected to comply with social distancing recommendations of staying 6 feet apart - sport masks are highly encouraged. Please don't attend if you or someone in your household is feeling sick. We will resume our end-of-month celebrations once we are out of the pandemic or when we return to Lindley Park in the spring (whichever comes first). The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to any adult interested in participating (all levels are welcome!).
