The workout: 3K at tempo pace (2 min rest), 2K at tempo pace (90 seconds rest), 1K at tempo to 10K pace (75 seconds rest), 1-4 x 800m at 10K to 5K pace (60-90 seconds rest). This workout will help maintain your aerobic base and will serve as a good simulation of mid-race conditions. This workout is a good opportunity to practice focusing and refocusing and maintaining a good rhythm.

Tuesday Night Track Club - meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. We are currently meeting at the MSU outdoor track in November through mid-April. If it is too snowy, we will complete the workout in the new football parking lot/sidewalk area. The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to anyone interested in participating, and participation can come in the form of an easy run in lieu of the workout.
