The Workout: 1-3 sets of 2K (90 sec rest), 1K (60 sec rest) followed by a set of 2-4 x 400m (60 sec rest) at the end of the workout. The 2K intervals should be completed at tempo pace, and the 1K intervals a bit faster, between 10K and 5K race pace. This workout focuses on improving the aerobic base.
**As it is the final Tuesday of the month, we will celebrate our hard work in July at Shine after the workout. All are welcome to join!
Tuesday Night Track Club - meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. We will meet this week at Lindley Park. Everyone who chooses to attend TNT is expected to comply with all national, state, and city safety recommendations. Please don't attend if you or someone in your household is feeling sick unless you are fully vaccinated. We are also resuming our end-of-month celebrations. The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to any adult interested in participating (all levels are welcome!).
