The workout: 1-3 x mile at tempo pace (60 seconds rest), 3-8 x 600m starting at 5K pace and working down to a bit faster than 5K pace (90 seconds rest). This workout focuses on lactate tolerance and VO2 max development.
Tuesday Night Track Club - meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. Throughout the winter season, we will meet at the MSU Track - bring a headlamp! Everyone who chooses to attend TNT is expected to comply with social distancing recommendations of staying 6 feet apart - sport masks are highly encouraged. Please don't attend if you or someone in your household is feeling sick. We will resume our end-of-month celebrations once we are out of the pandemic or when we return to Lindley Park in the spring (whichever comes first). The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to any adult interested in participating (all levels are welcome!).
