The Workout: 1-2 x 1600 at tempo pace, 1-2 x 800m at 5K race pace, 400m a little faster than 5K race pace, 1-2 x 800m at 5K race pace, 1-2 x mile at tempo pace. The rest after the miles is 1 minute, after the 800s is 90 seconds, and after the 400 is 1 minute. This workout focuses on aerobic pacework and mental toughness.
Tuesday Night Track Club - meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. We will meet at the MSU Track until the trails are snow-free. Everyone who chooses to attend TNT is expected to comply with social distancing recommendations of staying 6 feet apart - sport masks are highly encouraged. Please don't attend if you or someone in your household is feeling sick. We will resume our end-of-month celebrations once we are out of the pandemic or when we return to Lindley Park in the spring (whichever comes first). The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to any adult interested in participating (all levels are welcome!).
