The Workout: 1-4 x 1200m (60s rest), 800m (90s rest), 400m (90s rest). The 1200m should be completed at tempo to 10K pace, 800m at 5K race pace, and 400m a bit faster than 5K pace. This workout focuses on the aerobic base and development and speed.
*Note: I am currenty in quarantine and won't be able to attend on Tuesday - but will be back next week. I also deeply apologize that I won't be able to clear the track today/tomorrow, but it sounds like there is shoveling crew in the works (thanks so much Kyla!).
Tuesday Night Track Club - meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. Throughout the winter season, we will meet at the MSU Track - bring a headlamp! Everyone who chooses to attend TNT is expected to comply with social distancing recommendations of staying 6 feet apart. Please don't attend if you or someone in your household is feeling sick. We will resume our end-of-month celebrations once we are out of the pandemic or when we return to Lindley Park in the spring (whichever comes first). The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to any adult interested in participating (all levels are welcome!).
