The workout: 1-4 x (1000m, 600m, 2 x 400m). The rest after the 1K and the 400s is 60 seconds and is 90 seconds after the 600m. The 1000m intervals should be run at tempo pace, the 600m at 5K pace, and 400m at slightly faster than 5K pace. This workout focuses on aerobic strength and speed endurance.
Tuesday Night Track Club - meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. We will meet in the Brick Breedin parking lot (meet near the Kagy entrance) but will probably run the workout on the track. The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to any adult interested in participating (all levels are welcome!).
