The Workout: tempo mile followed by 1-3 x (2 x 800m, 2 x 400m). The 800s should be completed at 5K race pace, and the 400s should be completed at or a little faster than 5K race pace. The rest after the tempo mile and after the 400s is 60 seconds and is 90 seconds after the 800s. This workout targets aerobic threshold and VO2max development.
Tuesday Night Track Club - meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. We will meet this week at Lindley Park. Everyone who chooses to attend TNT is expected to comply with social distancing recommendations of staying 6 feet apart. Please don't attend if you or someone in your household is feeling sick. We will celebrate our hard work the last Tuesday of each month with brews after the workout - all are welcome to join! Mentally prepare for workouts by joining the Facebook group. The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to any adult interested in participating (all levels are welcome!).
