The Workout: 1-3 sets of 800m at or a little faster than 5k pace, mile at lactate threshold pace, 800m at or a little faster than 5k pace. The rest after the 800m is 90 seconds, and the rest after the mile is 60 seconds. This workout focuses on aerobic pacework and VO2max development.
Tuesday Night Track Club - meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. We are currently meeting in front of the graveyard at Lindley Park and running the nearby trails. The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to anyone interested in participating, and participation can come in the form of an easy run in lieu of the workout.
