The workout: 2k (at 10K-5K pace, 3 min rest), 1600m (at 5K pace, 2:30 rest), 1200m (5K pace, 2 min rest), 800 (5K pace, 90 sec rest), 400m. This workout will help you further develop VO2 max and practice getting into a rhythm as well as getting in a little speed. Now, that we are off of daylight savings time, it will be beneficial to wear a headlamp.
Tuesday Night Track Club - meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. Throughout the winter season, we will meet at the MSU Track - bring a headlamp! Everyone who chooses to attend TNT is expected to comply with social distancing recommendations of staying 6 feet apart. Please don't attend if you or someone in your household is feeling sick. We will resume our end-of-month celebratations once we are out of the pandemic or when we return to Lindley Park in the spring (whichever comes first) The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to any adult interested in participating (all levels are welcome!).
