The workout:Â 1-3 x (3 x 1000m, 1 x 400m). The rest after each interval is 60 seconds. The 1000m intervals should be run at tempo pace, and the 400m intervals should be run at 5K race pace or a little faster. This workout focuses on aerobic development with a little bit of pace changing to emulate surges in a race.

Tuesday Night Track Club - meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. We are currently meeting at the MSU outdoor track throughout the winter season. Depending on the snow conditions each week, we will run the workout on the track or parking lot. The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to any adult interested in participating, and participation can come in the form of an easy run in lieu of the workout.
