The workout: 1-2 x 1600m at tempo pace with 90 sec rest, 1-3 x 1000m at 10k to 5k race pace with 2 min rest, 1-3 x 800m at 5k race pace with 90 sec rest, 1-3 x 400m at 5k race pace or faster with 60 sec rest. This workout targets practicing maintaining a rhythm at tougher paces, a little bit of aerobic development, and speed development.


Tuesday Night Track Club - currently meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. Throughout the winter season (November through March), we will meet at the MSU Track & Field Complex - bring a headlamp. Mentally prepare for workouts by joining the Facebook group. The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to any adult interested in participating.
