The workout: 1-2 x 1600m at tempo pace with 90 sec rest, 1-3 x 1000m at 10K to 5K race pace with 2 minutes rest, 1-3 x 800m at 5K race pace with 90 sec rest, 1-3 x 400m at 5K race pace or faster with 60 sec rest. This workout targets practicing maintaining a rhythm at multiple paces, a little bit of aerobic development, and speed endurance development.

Tuesday Night Track Club - meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. Throughout the winter season, we will meet at the MSU Track - bring a headlamp! Everyone who chooses to attend TNT is expected to comply with social distancing recommendations of staying 6 feet apart - sport masks are highly encouraged. Please don't attend if you or someone in your household is feeling sick. We will resume our end-of-month celebrations once we are out of the pandemic or when we return to Lindley Park in the spring (whichever comes first). The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to any adult interested in participating (all levels are welcome!).
