The workout: 1-2 x 1600m at tempo pace with 90 sec rest, 1-3 x 1000m at 10K to 5K race pace with 2 minutes rest, 1-3 x 800m at 5K race pace with 90 sec rest, 1-3 x 400m at 5K race pace or faster with 60 sec rest. This workout targets practicing maintaining a rhythm at multiple paces, a little bit of aerobic development, and speed endurance development.

Tuesday Night Track Club - meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. We will meet at the MSU Track or parking lot until the trails are snow-free. Everyone who chooses to attend TNT is expected to comply with all national, state, and city safety recommendations. Please don't attend if you are feeling sick, and please wear a face covering if you have knowingly been exposed to SARS-CoV-2. The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to any adult interested in participating (all levels are welcome!).
